Fresh Coast Strategy was founded by Haley Bennett, a seasoned policy strategist with more than a decade of experience in state and local government, business, and nonprofit leadership. Haley has served in the Executive Office of Governor Gretchen Whitmer, led government relations for a coalition of regional chambers, and advanced cross-sector advocacy on issues such as access to fresh, local food.

She holds a Master of Social Work degree from Michigan State University, where she focused on community leadership and public policy, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.
